'87 Savage project bike build

I have this 1987 Suzuki Savage that I picked up cheap, as a "barn find", well actually TWO Savages!! One '86, & One "87. I have robbed a few parts off the '87 to use on my '99 which is my daily driver.
The robbed parts are:
Carburator
Clutch cable
Mounting bracket for speedo.
The '87 has in my opinion pretty low miles...8700!
I want to make this a simple MO BULLSHIT bike "only what ya need" if you know what I mean!!!

The Bike as I recieved it. " ran when I parked it" you know the story!!!!

As it sits now, after I removed some stuff so I can get down to business 

Western 1/2 of rt6 roadtrip

Rt86 west to Interstate 90 then into Pennsylvania, then into Ohio, exit for rt6
Starting mileage at Ohio Pennsylvaia state line, Eastbound and down!

Be sure to read what the town sign says under Linesville!!
